Nutrition and healthy eating matter
Healthy food is a daily staple to fuel training, activities, and recovery. We know that a balanced meal makes all the difference in keeping our energy up throughout the day.
Meals are served buffet style in our air conditioned dining hall. Breakfast and dinner are enjoyed with cabins and counselors to build routine and connection, while lunch offers open seating so campers eat with new friends each day.
Breakfast
Hot breakfast items may include pancakes, scrambled eggs, breakfast burritos, omelettes, or french toast. Campers may also choose to have oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, bagels, yogurt, fresh cut fruit or choose from our selection of cereal.
Lunch & Dinner
Lunch and dinner always include a large salad bar featuring everything from lettuce and fresh cut vegetables, tuna and egg salad, proteins, and grains. There is a rotating soup of the day, as well as a make your own pasta bar.
Snacks
Fresh seasonal whole fruit is available all day.
Special dietary requirements
NEGTC is equipped to manage unique dietary requirements for our campers with food allergies and dietary restrictions. We are a peanut and nut free camp. Please reach out to us to discuss how we can best accommodate your athlete.
