tanner’s Day
The day starts around 7:30 am. Cabin counselors turn on lights, open windows, and greet campers.
Tanner starts the day learning basic chords and playing along with friends.
Tanner works with our ski instructors, learning how to get up and stand on the mono ski. They cheer him on with every attempt, and celabrate his success.
At the range, Tanner hits balls and works on basic swing mechanics. Coaches keep instruction simple and encouraging.
Time for lunch. Rest Hour follows lunch. Back in the cabin, some campers read, write letters home, play quiet games, stretch, or talk with friends.
On the field, Tanner plays fast paced game of soccer.
Snack Break!
Spin class brings music and high energy. Tanner pushes himself, breaks a sweat, and feels accomplished after the ride.
Out on Salmon Lake, Tanner works with a partner to steer and trim sails. He learns teamwork and enjoys time on the water.
Shower hour & Dinner
The day ends with a camp wide dance. Tanner spends time with friends, laughs a lot, and heads back to the cabin tired and happy.
Before lights out, counselors help campers set one simple goal for the next day. The cabin settles in, lights go off at a set time so everyone is rested,
“I love coming to camp with my friends. Even though I don’t play golf or tennis, I still have the best time every day.”
